Windows Systems
Install, upgrade and administer Windows
based systems and servers. Support wide variety of software
running on these systems including E-Mail systems (Lotus Notes,
Microsoft Exchange, Open Exchange), Oracle, Microsoft SqlServer,
financial applications (Quick Books, Quicken), Anti-Virus applications (AVG,
McAfee and Symantec), Open Office, Microsoft Office, building security
system (IdentiCard), telephone switch (IP Office), Domain Name Server,
backups and disaster recovery. Provide technical support, system
analysis, technical consulting, performance analysis, recovery of
operating systems and scripting assistance to automate specific tasks,
problem solving, and training. Help to establish disaster recovery
policies. Help to ensure sufficient computer systems capacity for
organizational needs. Help to analyze usage patterns and establish
schedules and procedures for maximum utilization of the systems by
coordinating all computer related activities. Help to identify
computing needs and provide solutions for issues.

Networking
Install, upgrade and administer routers,
switches and hubs. Install new and administer existing LAN and WAN
networks and internal network infrastructure. Install, upgrade and
administer Firewalls (Watch Guard, Sonicwall, Checkpoint), network
backup system, VPN, network security, remote access, and network file
shares. Implement security policies and procedures for computer
and LAN usage. Obtain and administer Internet Domain Names.
Provide technical consulting, performance analysis, and scripting
assistance to automate specific tasks.

Unix Systems
Install, upgrade and administer HP-UX, AIX,
Linux and Sun Solaris systems. Support wide variety of software
running on these systems including Oracle, Informix, ERP application (BPCS),
college registration system (BANNER), work order system, Domain Name
Server, E-Mail (Open Exchange) and Network File System. Provide
technical consulting, performance analysis, recovery of operating
systems and scripting assistance to automate specific tasks.
